Message at all, you pick which way you want to do it, I'll pick mine.

You say people have to take the stock shields off to properly drain/flush their system when it is not the case, in fact it is complete waste of time and unnecessary when you can use a fitting as described in the link for less than $10-20 worth of stuff that every Lowe's carries, and that takes all of 30 seconds to assemble.

The flap was there for a reason and is real convenient with the aforementioned contraption being used to flush the system. This is why I ask Joe if that area is covered or not. Maybe it never occured to him. Maybe myself and the guy who came up with that fitting are the only two people who use it. Either way, it was a simple question that you didn't have the answer to, but rather decided to tell me, incorrectly, that the shields have to come off anyway, as if the question wasn't worth asking when in fact, for some of us, it is.

So in short, thanks for your input, but it doesn't apply.
